AI, your data and its limits

Understand what a feature needs to process, what to leave out and why you should review the result.

What information is involved?

FeatureInformation involvedPurpose
New plan generationDestination, trip length, budget, currency, companions and preferences you submit.Create a structured itinerary draft.
Video extractionThe submitted source link and accessible media or related content used for extraction.Identify named places and location context.
Receipt scanningThe receipt image you submit.Read items, amounts and other visible receipt fields.

The reviewed AI integration uses Google Gemini through Vertex AI. Review the feature’s permission notice and the Privacy Policy before submitting content.

Share only what the task needs

  • Do not put passports, identification numbers or card details in a trip description.
  • Avoid submitting personal information unrelated to a place you want to save.
  • Remove unnecessary private information from a receipt image where practical.
  • Do not submit someone else’s private material without appropriate permission.

A plan preference such as “vegetarian food, a relaxed pace” is useful. An unrelated document or account credential is not.

Retention and provider behaviour

This guide does not promise zero retention or make a blanket claim that data is never used by a provider. Handling depends on the actual service configuration and applicable terms. Refer to OnePlan’s Privacy Policy for the disclosed processing, and contact support if you need clarification before using a feature.

You remain in control of the next action

AI output is a draft to inspect. Check map matches, trip feasibility, receipt amounts and currencies. Generated content does not confirm a booking, authorise a payment or establish that a merchant is open.

If a result is wrong, correct it or leave it out. When reporting a problem, include the feature and a description of the issue without resending unnecessary sensitive data.
