OnePlan Travel ("OnePlan Travel", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect information when you use the OnePlan Travel mobile application, website, and related services (the "Services"). By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1.Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information depending on how you use the Services.

Account Information

When you sign in to OnePlan Travel, we may collect your name, your email address, and the account identifier provided through Apple ID or Google Account.

Trip and Planning Information

When you use the Services, we may collect and store information related to your travel planning activity, such as:

  • Trip names;
  • Destinations;
  • Itinerary details;
  • Travel dates;
  • Notes;
  • Saved places;
  • Budget data;
  • Expense records;
  • Selected or applied Market plans;
  • Boards and Pins created or saved by you; and
  • Planning history associated with your account.

Boards, Pins, and Video Scan Information

If you use features such as Boards, Pins, or video-based place detection, we may collect:

  • Links to videos you submit from supported platforms, such as TikTok or Instagram;
  • Places, destinations, or location-related information detected from submitted video links;
  • Boards you create;
  • Pins you save;
  • Places you add to trips; and
  • Related metadata needed to provide these features.

We use this information to help you discover, save, organize, and apply places to your travel plans.

Camera, Photos, and Receipt-Related Information

If you use camera, photo, or AI-powered bill scanning features, we may collect:

  • Photos or images you select or provide;
  • Camera input;
  • Receipt or bill images; and
  • Extracted information from receipts or bills, such as item names, prices, totals, or expense-related details.

We do not collect photos for trip photo albums because OnePlan Travel no longer provides a Trip Photos feature.

Location Information

If you enable location-based features, we may collect location-related information to support travel planning, maps, nearby place discovery, or other location-based functionality within the Services. You can control location permissions through your device settings.

Notifications and Device Information

We may collect information needed to operate the Services and send notifications, such as:

  • Push notification preferences;
  • Device type;
  • Operating system;
  • App version;
  • Crash logs;
  • Performance data; and
  • Basic technical or diagnostic information.

Communications and Support Information

If you contact us, we may collect your email address, the contents of your message, and any information you choose to provide.

2.How We Use Your Information

We may use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account;
  • Provide trip planning, budgeting, expense tracking, Boards, Pins, and Market-related features;
  • Allow you to save detected places from video links;
  • Help you organize saved places into Boards or add them to Trips;
  • Support Market plan access and application;
  • Process and display trip-related content;
  • Enable AI-powered bill, receipt, or video scan features;
  • Send trip overviews, service-related emails, or app notifications;
  • Provide customer support;
  • Improve, maintain, and secure the Services;
  • Troubleshoot technical issues;
  • Analyze app performance and user experience;
  • Prevent misuse, fraud, or unauthorized activity; and
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your information for purposes inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.

4.Sign-In Services

OnePlan Travel currently allows sign-in through Apple ID and Google Account.

When you sign in using these services, we receive certain account information from the relevant provider, subject to the provider's own settings, privacy policies, and terms.

We do not control how Apple or Google process your information when you use their sign-in services.

5.AI Features

OnePlan Travel may use AI-powered features to support certain app functions, including:

  • Receipt or bill scanning;
  • Expense extraction;
  • Place detection from submitted video links;
  • Trip planning assistance; and
  • Other travel-related automation features.

When you use these features, the information you provide may be processed to generate the requested output.

AI-assisted outputs may not always be complete, accurate, or up to date. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming results before relying on them, especially for travel plans, costs, places, operating hours, routes, or expense calculations.

6.Camera, Photos, and Receipt Scanning

If you choose to use camera, photo, or receipt scanning features:

  • You may provide images from your camera or photo library;
  • We may process those images to provide the requested feature; and
  • Extracted information may be used to support budgeting, expense, or planning functions.

Camera and photo permissions are only used when needed to provide features you choose to use. You can manage camera and photo permissions through your device settings.

7.Location Data

If you allow location access, we may use location-related information to support features such as:

  • Map-related functionality;
  • Nearby place discovery;
  • Travel planning;
  • Destination organization;
  • Boards and Pins; and
  • Other location-based features.

You can control location permissions through your device settings. If you disable location permissions, some location-based features may not function properly.

8.Notifications

If you enable notifications, we may send:

  • Trip-related reminders;
  • Planning updates;
  • Expense or budget-related notices;
  • Service updates; and
  • Other app-related notifications.

You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

9.Boards and Pins

OnePlan Travel allows users to save and organize places through Boards and Pins. A Board is a saved list or collection of places. A Pin is an individual saved place or location.

Information related to Boards and Pins may include saved places, place names, location data, notes, detected places from submitted video links, and other information you choose to save.

We use this information to help you manage saved places, plan trips, and apply places to existing or future travel plans.

10.Market Plans

OnePlan Travel may provide access to travel plans through its Market feature. At this time:

  • Market plans are published by OnePlan Travel only;
  • Users do not currently upload Market plans themselves;
  • Creator upload functionality is not currently enabled; and
  • Creator payout functionality is not currently enabled.

If Market functionality changes in the future, we may update this Privacy Policy and other applicable terms.

11.Third-Party Services

We may use or integrate with third-party services to operate and improve the Services, including:

  • Apple Sign In;
  • Google Sign In;
  • Apple Maps;
  • App Store services;
  • AI-powered processing tools, including ChatGPT-related services;
  • Analytics, diagnostic, or crash reporting tools;
  • Server and hosting providers, including Vietnix; and
  • Other infrastructure, technical, payment, or service providers.

These third parties may process information as needed to provide services to us or to you. Their handling of information may also be subject to their own privacy policies and terms. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.

12.How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following situations:

  • with third-party service providers that help us operate, maintain, secure, or improve the Services;
  • when needed to provide features you request;
  • with sign-in, mapping, hosting, AI, analytics, diagnostic, or infrastructure providers;
  • when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
  • to protect the rights, safety, security, and integrity of OnePlan Travel, our users, or others;
  • to detect, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, security issues, or technical problems; or
  • in connection with a business transfer, merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar transaction.

We may also share information in aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified form where it no longer reasonably identifies you personally.

13.Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide the Services;
  • maintain your account;
  • support the features you use;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • resolve disputes;
  • enforce our agreements;
  • prevent fraud or misuse; and
  • maintain app security and integrity.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purposes for which it is used. If you delete your account, we may delete or anonymize your personal information, subject to legal, technical, security, or legitimate business requirements. Certain information may remain in backups or logs for a limited period where deletion is not technically immediate.

14.Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for using secure devices and networks when accessing the Services.

15.Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • Access personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of your account or personal information;
  • Withdraw permissions such as camera, photos, location, or notifications through device settings;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities;
  • Request a copy of certain information where applicable; and
  • Contact us regarding privacy-related questions or requests.

You may request account deletion if that feature is available in the app or by contacting us at the email address below. We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests.

16.Children's Privacy

OnePlan Travel is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to use online services without parental consent.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us in a way that is not permitted, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

If use of the Services by minors is permitted under applicable law, such use must be under the involvement, consent, or authorization of a parent or legal guardian where required.

17.International Use

If you access the Services from outside Vietnam, you understand that your information may be processed in Vietnam or other countries where we or our service providers operate.

Data protection laws in those countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred, stored, or processed outside your country of residence where permitted by applicable law.

18.Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may update the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the Services or by other reasonable means.

Your continued use of the Services after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
